I wrote this song for my then bride-to-be Marybeth in 1989 and am proud to include it on this CD even though we are no longer married. (But don’t you dig the wedding bells at the start and end of the song?!) We have always been, and always will be, close friends. A rather intensely spiritual lyric to be sure. Thanks to Todd Rundgren as usual (as always might be more accurate!) for the musical inspiration. Great big thanks to Jimmy for such astute assistance in programming synth sounds and rocking this mix! I played or sequenced the instruments and sang the vocals.
